Pio Cesare, Barolo, Red 2016, 750ml

An excellent Barolo from a very good year, an "alloy" of grapes that came from privately owned vineyards of the communities of Serralunga d'Alba, Grinzane Cavour, La Morra, Novello and Monforte d’Alba.
The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, the extraction lasts 25 to 30 days, and the wine immediately afterwards passes mainly in French oak "botti" where it remains for 30 months.
Its aromatic profile, despite its young age, impresses, with hints of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, tobacco, tar, rose petals and sweet spices unfolding through our glass, while in the mouth it fascinates, with shiny acidity, firm but fine-grained tannins and medium to full in volume.
If you are looking for a "classic" Barolo example that can be aged for a long time, do not hesitate to invest in this wine.
The transfusion will only do him good, while the ideal serving temperature is 15 degrees Celsius.
